What causes premature tyre wear ?
Unfortunatley sometimes tyres have to be replaced long before their expected life has been reached due to rapid or uneven tread wear.
The most common causes of avoidable tread wear are as follows:
• Under Inflation – Causing rapid wear along the edges of the tyre.
• Over-Inflation – Causing rapid wear along the centre of the tyre.
• Incorrect wheel balancing – Causing bald spots around the tread of the tyre often with noticeable vibration.
• Incorrect wheel alignment or tracking – Causing Front tyres to rapidly wear along the inside or outside edges.
We use state of the art SUPERTRACKER 4 wheel Computer tracking equipment to align your wheels to original manufacturers settings to ensure the full mileage is obtained from your tyres.
